Hum, Finally got sick of the number of queries this theme was making, so I’ve added in some caching (Dont know why I bothered really.. WP-Cache2 caches everything anyway).
So The number of queries for this page is now only 24.. Instead of 74.. And now takes a massive 0.015s for all queries instead of.. well.. 0.013s
Press This’s Tags are not working right now under trunk, so, Looks like i’m left with a tagless post :)
Just another quick mention on the layout, The page is now limited to 50 items (Shock horror!) however, It’ll only display whats been posted in the last week (As long as theres > 2 posts in the last week..).. Sounds crazy.. but.. it’ll work out :)
Why the hell wont the Bottom Meta (“Tagged”, “No comments”, etc) float to the bottom?! Its got a clear: both; on it.. Theres even a <br> with clear attached to it in there…
Update: Why not? Because i’m a friggin’ idiot. Pay attention to the HTML DOM layout next time..
Just a quick mention, I’ve decided to start posting items which i’ll classify as “Something Cool”, These could be short videos, Useful articles, Images, who knows. I’ll try to tag them and see where it takes me, Maybe it’ll stop me from adding hundreds of items to my bookmarks… where they’ll never be heard from again.
And as you can probably see, I’ve also set up some “Aside” sections, with the Yellow background, I’ll generally keep these for quick sniplets of what i have to say :)
